"statement": "Why vote for Richard Bradley on June 8th?\n(Especially when we all know the outcome in Houghton and Sunderland South?)\n\nBecause every Green vote is making a difference now!\nOur 2015 manifesto included policies such as Free Education and nationalising the railways; we have championed modern social thinking with proposals like Universal Basic Income and Land Value Tax, and don’t forget we were first with a Living Wage (a proper one) and the Robin Hood Tax. These ideas and more appear in the other parties’ manifestos now because the Green vote made them take notice. The 2017 Green Guarantees are the manifesto of the future.\n\nA Green vote on June 8th says you know the NHS needs more than just promises of money, you know that we have to roll back the privatisation of the NHS and return it to public ownership.\nA Green vote on June 8th says you don’t want a return to the monolithic British Rail but regional railways run by the people who use them.\nA Green vote on June 8th says you believe in Free Education, and want to give students the maintenance grants that benefited you so much when you went to university.\nA Green vote on June 8th acknowledges the need for more housing but that the quality and location are equally important and that the final decision should lie with the people who already live there.\n\nMost importantly a Green vote reminds everyone that if we carry on living the way we do we face environmental catastrophe and action is required now. \n\nA vote for me will not change the outcome of the election in Houghton and Sunderland South, its impact is far greater - making people think.\n\n\nVote for the Future – Vote Richard Bradley"

Whatever is negotiated, we want to offer the British people the chance to make the final decision. I am also keen to see better housing provision in both the rental and purchase sectors, especially to enable young people to have a family life of their own."
